Inauguration of First CATH LAB in Shirur Taluka Pune Ruby Hall Clinic
Ruby Hall Clinic is proud to announce the successful inauguration of its first CATH LAB in Shirur Taluka, Pune. The state-of-the-art facility, launched on 26th September 2024 at the Matoshree Madanbai Dhariwal Hospital’s Cardiac Centre, is a result of a collaborative effort between Fiat India Automobiles Private Limited (FIAPL)—a joint venture between Tata Motors and Stellantis—and the Grant Medical Foundation (Ruby Hall Clinic).

"It was an honor to be invited as a speaker to highlight the escalating metabolic consequences in diabetes, specifically the emergence of atherogenic diabetic dyslipidemia.
As we navigate the complexities of diabetes management, it has become increasingly evident that the metabolic effects of diabetes extend far beyond hyperglycemia. One of the most significant and overlooked consequences is the development of atherogenic diabetic dyslipidemia.
This distinct lipid profile is characterized by:
- Elevated triglycerides
- Reduced HDL cholesterol
- Increased small, dense LDL particles
- Enhanced apolipoprotein B (ApoB) levels
Atherogenic diabetic dyslipidemia significantly amplifies cardiovascular risk, rendering individuals with diabetes more susceptible to atherosclerotic disease.
Through my presentation, I aimed to emphasize the critical importance of addressing atherogenic diabetic dyslipidemia in diabetes management strategies. By acknowledging and tackling this often-overlooked aspect of diabetes, we can better mitigate cardiovascular risk and improve patient outcomes."
